Having a new baby is an amazing time of your life! You have been waiting for this moment for so long and it has finally arrived! You have the most beautiful little bundle and cannot stop staring at it. Hours just pass in seconds because you are overwhelmed by how much love you have.
But did you know that the first few days also go past in a blur because you are now catching up on sleep and juggling life with your new baby. By booking a photo session you can capture all those beautiful little features and memories to look back on.
You will also appreciate having some family photos, even though you feel tired and don’t think you look your best… I promise you, you will love these photos. I know I do, even though I didn’t have professional photos because I never knew these sessions were available back then.

Pregnancy bumps…. they are so beautiful! Everyone tells you that you’re glowing and you really do because you are carrying that little baby that you have been waiting for!!
And the moment has finally arrived… you’re pregnant. Booking a session captures how gorgeous you look before that that little bundle of squishiness arrives. It’s still just the two of you before you become a family of three. Or, you may even be a family of 3, 4 or 5 and you’re about to become a family of 4, 5 or 6.
Your family are welcome to come along to capture this moment together.
HORSHAM CAKE SMASH PHOTOGRAPHER
Celebrating your babies 1st birthday is a milestone. These sessions are great fun because your little one gets to come in and have fun while I capture some photos. Whilst most sessions include a cake, you are welcome to bring in a bowl of fruit, paints, favourite toys.. it’s up to you.
We are celebrating your babies first year so I love to include photos of you as a family plus your little on on their own looking super cute. After this we introduce the cake which they can eat or play with and then when they have finished it’s time for a bath… and of course some bubbles.
HORSHAM WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
My style of wedding photography is relaxed, fun and natural.
I like to capture the day as it happens, documenting the happiness and memories of one of your most memorable day. Lots of people feel uncomfortable in front of the camera so I will be unobtrusive to ensure that both you and your guests feel relaxed and don’t notice me taking photos.
I want your album to tell the story of your day, capturing natural shots of you having fun and enjoying yourselves. I will take the usual important photos and am happy to take posed photos but you will also have lots of candid images.

Hi, I’m Claire, a part time photographer based in Christ’s Hospital, near Horsham, West Sussex, that specialises in babies and large family photography I love to capture the real you! There is nothing better than meeting you at a new baby sesion, and watch your children grow and your family expand. Many of my clients ask me to photograph their baby and this is where relationship starts. We meet again for school photos, additional babies, extended family sessions, 1st birthday sessions, outdoor family fun.. and so it continues. When I go to their houses, I’m so love to see my wall art proudly displayed on the wall.
We’re probably very similar, in the fact that I don’t really like my photo being taken and prefer to be behind the lens. BUT.. my goal is to make your session fun and relaxed. So, that you come away with photos of yourself, that you like! No child is perfect, I’m there to capture the special moments. I LOVE outdoor family sessions because kids can be kids!
My other day job, is working in a Special Needs school in Horsham, which I love, so cannot give up.
Working in a school enables me to have a great rapport with your children, and I am more aware of the support required for children with special needs.
If I have free time, which is rare, I love to be outside doing something active with my children. Ideally this would be paddle boarding, skiing, cycling, or just enjoying good weather and eating. I also LOVE to walk my dog, so please do bring your dog to your photo sessions… they are part of the family after all!
